Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC):
The CFTC is an agency of the federal government charged with regulation of the futures and options markets.

Energy Information Administration (EIA):
The EIA is the primary information resource from the government on pricing and fundamental factors affecting the energy markets.

National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD):
The NASD, a private nonprofit organization, is the counterpart of the NFA that deals with the regulation of the general securities markets such as stocks, bonds, mutual funds, etc.

National Futures Association (NFA): 
The NFA is the sole independent regulatory body approved by the CFTC that registers and oversees the participants (brokers, clearing merchants, etc.) in all futures and futures options markets.

National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA):
This government agency offers extensive weather forecasting and evaluation, among other things.

New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX)
This site is a great resource for general futures and options education, historical quotes, and margin requirements for all energy futures contracts.
